Descriptions are boring. And limiting. The short version? I'm an asshole and you'll probably hate me. With good reason. |
Still here, just feeling like hell lately. Woke up the last few days with symptoms consistent with a virulent flu or food poisoning, which is new. New is generally not good when it concerns my physical condition, because new generally means something else has developed or something existing has gotten worse. New, in the case of my health, usually means going downhill and picking up speed.
Also vaguely and somewhat specifically annoyed at the amount of Womanthology sniping which occurred on Twitter and Tumblr; seems a fair number of people who were not involved with the project started critiquing its economics. Oddly, I’ve yet to see any complaints from anyone who contributed their time or labor to the project - so far, it all seems to be coming from people who did not participate or donate money. It also seemed vaguely patronizing at times.
Currently reading Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr.’s “The Crisis Of The Old Order,” Susan Casey’s “The Wave” and the first volume of Ed Brubaker’s “Secret Avengers.” When I can sit up long enough.
