Some good points here, particularly in the comments about tone. I know from  personal experience that when someone starts yelling at me, I’m highly unlikely to listen to anything they have to say. If expressing feelings is more important than getting results, then by all means, yell. If changing things is the goal, then yelling is usually only going to cause harm.

If this is a tone argument, it’s a tone argument, but while we may have free speech in America, we also have the freedom not to listen to people screaming at us.
